My friend Alex has turkeys, ducks, and chickens. I walked into his house and found 2 bowls filled with an assortment of eggs from these animals. I also found a pie waiting on the wood stove.

Whenever I’m shooting an event, I’m always captivated by the oldest and the youngest of the group. I want to listen to their stories. I want to take their photos. I want to see them laugh.

My goal is to eventually compose a photo essay of centenarians. I’d feel blessed to have that opportunity.

I went to attempt long exposures of the moon the other night and of course got sidetracked by these night bugs. Not sure what either of them are, but they’re pretty crazy looking.

I just got my wisdom teeth out. It blows. While I appreciate all the “get well” text messages, I just want to be wandering outside with all of my friends. Soon enough. At least this cutie is keeping me company!
